EAYC: Soul Reflective is my personal blog, a collection of my thoughts, musings, reflections — in prose, poetry, and photographs.

Some posts are my responses to various writing and photography prompts I come across; others are my curated articles on self-help topics and personal development. This is where I believe I can make good use of my background in psychology & pastoral counseling, as well as in theology and be of help to my readers.

I’m sharing them with you because through EAYC: Soul Reflective, I hope to inspire, uplift, encourage mid-lifers and “young” seniors, if you happen to be one like me trying to find new meaning or purpose in life.

OR  you may simply want to grow into the best person you can ever be, no matter how young or old you are. So here I am to accompany you in your journey of self-growth.

In this blog,  my dear reader, you can find ideas – whether in prose, poetry, or photography — to inspire, motivate you how to continuously develop yourself, discover your passion and purpose, and be your authentic self.
I myself am a “work in progress” and one of my newfound interests is photography. An amateur photography enthusiast learning and honing her camera skills, I find it an enjoyable aspect of my personal growth.
A bit of history

This blog has undergone so many changes over the course of time, including its title. I started it as an encouragement for my EFL (English as a Foreign Language) students to hone their English writing skills and rouse their interest in the language– by providing them with a platform where they could share their hearts and minds through their pieces. But due to the hectic demands of their academic studies and pastoral work, many could not continue writing for this blog — which we named English All You Can.

So rather than letting my students’ enthusiastic effort go to waste, I’ve turned this into my personal space with the aim of being an encouragement and inspiration to others.

Moving on

In gratitude to them who made this blog possible in the first place, I’ve kept my students’ posts intact. I may still write something for English learners or something about teaching the ‘Queen’s language‘  — English as a second or a foreign language.

See you!
